Weston is a healthcare executive with extensive experience across many different aspects of the industry, including the University of Virginia (Healthcare Executive in Residence), TARGET PharmaSolutions, Novartis, and IQVIA.
He has held senior management positions in business development, corporate development, strategy, and operations with a general focus on the application of data and analytics to enhance the capabilities of healthcare and life science companies. Weston also previously worked at Carousel Capital and The Boston Consulting Group.
Weston received his MBA from the University of North Carolina and his B.A. from the University of Virginia where he was a Jefferson Scholar.
Nino da Silva
Managing Director, Asia
Nino is a member of the board of directors of BCB Medical Oy, HLM Ab and Gourmetgruppen Sverige Ab. He is an entrepreneur and business executive with extensive experience in the field of medical IT and informatics and proven expertise in international sales and brand building, as well as internationalization of products and concepts.
In the last 20 years, Nino has worked with several global medical technology and software companies. In 2005, he was appointed the CEO of eCare, a Swedish R&D company in the field of medical informatics and health care decision support systems.
Nino studied medical technology, as well as marketing and economics. He co-authored several scientific abstracts and articles published in journals and congresses over the years.
Ben Jackson
EVP, North American Sales
Ben brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare technology, bioinformatics, and genomics, having developed customer success teams and global strategies at BC Platforms. In addition to his solutions capabilities, he is an active advocate and initiator of cross-industry discussions on clinical and regulatory strategies to support patient centricity across the healthcare and life sciences value chain and journey.
Ben is a Boston University alumnus, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology with a minor in Philosophy. Furthering his commitment to delivering results for his partners, he is a certified Scrum Master.
Niko Hurskainen
Chief Technology Officer
Niko served as Customer Service Director, Europe and COO, before being appointed as CTO at BC Platforms.
Before joining BC Platforms Niko worked at several big tech companies in different solution and business development roles. Niko has worked as a solution architect, team lead, and latest before joining BC Platforms in 2016 as leader of Business Analytics business at Tieto. Niko combines understanding of IT with strategic business thinking to ensure business success in the long term.
Mr. Hurskainen holds a B.Sc. in Finance.
Solomon Kamal-Uddin
Strategic Medical Director
Solomon serves as the Global Medical Strategy Lead at BC Platforms. His extensive background spans Healthcare, Education, Clinical Trials, and Patient Organizations, with dual CCT accreditation in Pediatrics, specializing in Emergency Medicine. Solomon has been a Principal Investigator for numerous clinical trials and contributed to Delphi Studies. His experience in the life sciences includes roles at a major CRO overseeing pediatric and rare disease projects, and a rare disease biotech. He is actively involved at the Royal College of Paediatrics' Climate Change Working Group, and as a senior clinical fellow at Medics Academy, Solomon educates current and future clinicians while participating in patient-focused organizations.
