Weston is a healthcare executive with extensive experience across many different aspects of the industry, including the University of Virginia (Healthcare Executive in Residence), TARGET PharmaSolutions, Novartis, and IQVIA.
He has held senior management positions in business development, corporate development, strategy, and operations with a general focus on the application of data and analytics to enhance the capabilities of healthcare and life science companies. Weston also previously worked at Carousel Capital and The Boston Consulting Group.
Weston received his MBA from the University of North Carolina and his B.A. from the University of Virginia where he was a Jefferson Scholar.
Douglas Last
Director, Integrated Technologies
Douglas Last has extensive experience in the biotech and life sciences sector across various strategic and leadership roles. He is currently the Director of Integrated Technologies at BC Platforms, where he has been since September 2015.
Before joining BC Platforms, Douglas held key positions focused on strategy and sales. He was a Senior Technical Sales Specialist for Genetic Analysis at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Earlier, he served as VP of Business Development at both Genusmail and Gorilla Toolz, where he led market strategy and revenue growth initiatives.
Douglas’s career in sales began at QIAGEN, where he spent over 14 years as a National Sales Manager, launching and scaling efforts for advanced technologies.
Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated an ability to grow businesses, build partnerships, and drive innovation in the life sciences field.
